Some new layouts I want to share…

I don’t normally scrap objects but I took this photo myself and I was proud of it so I made this layouts. It is also about my husband and his hobby so it is scrap worthy. I used Holly’s new Portland kit for this layout. This kit is great, I especially love the metal elements. I don’t scrap masculine layouts often but this kit made it so easy. The title fits the layout and theme I was going for, yes I don’t always understand his hobbies and I could say the same for him. He likes cars and I like making layouts, very different but both make us happy. Good thing we don’t need an auto insurance with the cars he like to built from scratch.

So I’m sporting a new blinkie and I’m so happy (insert happy dance here)…

I haven’t applied for a Creative Team call for a while now and I’m quite happy with all my CT spots (I feel quite fortunate to be part of such amazing teams) but when I saw this call I couldn’t it pass without trying my luck. And and I was indeed lucky to be one of the eight new members. I knew there were a lot of other applicants and I’m so grateful to be chosen. Now if I could also get the latest camcorder I saw at the mall last Sunday before my little girl’s birthday that would be great, lol.

I love love love Kay Miller’s new kit, Apple Snapple. It is bright and happy and full of apples it makes me happy and bright too (lol). Here it is…

See what I mean when I say bright and happy? Oh I made a quickpage set using this kit too. If you’re in a hurry to have scrapbook layouts then quickpages are good for you. Just slide the photos in the pages and you’re done, that’s it five layouts for your album. Here’s the quickpages…

I told you I love the kit right so of course I already made a layout using it. It was really fun to use and I was done with my layout in no time.

I used Zoe Pearn’s Cheeky Girl kit for this LO. While on the layout below I used Kristin Cronnin-Barrow and Meghan Mullen’s Sassy Sisters kit both from Sweet Shoppe Designs.

I love using templates, it makes scrapping easier but it doesn’t take away the creative side of things. Now go and grab yourself the grab bag and scrap more layouts

The news is finally out! It is so exciting that my friend Kay is back at SSD now as a designer (although we say she’ll always be a babe). It i s so awesome, she got two new kits for her debut. I had the pleasure of creating quickpages using her kits.

I love how this layout turned out. Well I love the photo and Holly’s Sugar Rush kit was perfect for it. The photo was one of my DD’s latest which I took yesterday. Thank goodness for the sunshine, the lighting was great.

Here’s the layout I finished yesterday using Tracy Ann’s latest kit called Trek (available at Tracy Ann Digital Art). This photo was taken last year at the birdpark. Just look at how little my princess, time sure did fly becasue she’s my active toddler now.
