Remember those old movies where a dad gives out a cigar to all his male friends when his wife gives birth to a son? Well I had a dream about that a few nights ago, I guess I’m thinking about having a new baby a lot these days. We’re having talks about adding a new member to our family, I think we’re ready. This is an exciting new adventure we will soon embark together.

We’re still thinking what to give our moms this year for Christmas, it is so fun that they’re going to spend the holidays with us. I’ve heard rave reviews about Kettlebell so I might suggest this to hubby. I’m also thinking of printing my favorite scrapbook layouts of the little girl into an album and give them each a copy. I think they will appreciate this gift too. Oh and a handbag is always a crowd pleaser, I don’t mind getting a new one this year as well. No one can have too much purse ![]()
If I don’t get in the habit of sleeping at decent hours I may have to use wrinkle cream earlier than I should. It’s not that I don’t want to have eight hours of sleep, I just get caught up on scrapping or surfing the net at night and before I knew it the clock is telling me it’s already one in the morning. I don’t have much time to do these things during the day because there’s household chores and a little girl that needs me so I do my thing at night.
There’s a lot of Christms related crafts and projects I want to do but I don’t have time to do it. I honestly feel that some days I have 4396710 things to do and I’m overwhelmed. I just try to do as much as I can with the time that I have, sometimes though I wished I have more time to devote on crafting and scrapbooking. I don’t get a lot of me time these days, I miss scrapping.
I love Christmas shopping because there are little things here and there that stores giveaway for their loyal customers, like promotional tote bags for instance. I know it can get crowded at times but I don’t mind when I’m shopping alone, now if I have a toddler with me that would be another story. It’s better for me to do my shopping alone, I can get more things done without having to worry about a hungry little girl asking for her pretzel or a tired little girl who wants to take a nap. I’m still not done shopping so I’m hoping I could go out on my own this weekend.

I love how this door hanger turned out. I made this using Michelle Filo’s Hybrid template available at Little Dreamer Designs. I picked up the Kaisercraft door hanger at my local scrapbook store. It was so easy to make and I love the end result. I just made a digital layout, printed and cut it accordingly, adhered to my door hanger and added real embellishments. This is for the little girl’s room, and she likes it a lot too. I’m hoping to do more hybrid projects in weeks to come.
We’re still contemplating what to get as our family gift for this year. It’s a toss between xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii. We have a PS2 we don’t use much anymore but I think if we get the Wii we’ll end up using it more often. The little girlwas already playing with it at the mall, she likes the tennis racket. We’re just comparing the two and were trying to determine which one would most likely be suitable for our family.
How I wish Santa would put Couture Jewelry underneath the Christmas tree for me this year, I think I’ve been good this year (wink). Seriously I won’t mind having a new set of jewelery for Christmas. I’ve been making my shopping list and hopefully I could start shopping this weekend and be done before first week of December. There’s lots of kids on my list and I’m thinking of giving age appropriate books this year. I know my little girl loves books so it’s a safe present for any child. The hardest person to shop for is still hubby, I don’t know what to give him this year.
