I know how hectic life can be when you are a working mom, I’m not one of them right now but I already have my hands full so I know how it feels to have so much to do that you don’t have time to do everything at once. This is why I think it is great that there are online schools such us Gonzaga University that offers Online master degrees with working professionals in mind. It’s hard to keep up with work and home let alone fit going to school for classes so online degrees are great. There’s only a few top ranked school offering online programs right now and I’m sure that those who wants to get their masters degree are thankful that they can now do so without compromising their work and personal commitments.

I have a few new layouts to share….
I used Nikki Beaudreau’s Persimmon Cakes available at After Five Designs for the layout above, the the soft colors and the cute elements in this kit.
I used Guy things by Catherine Designs available at After Five Designs for the layout above. I love the elements in this kit. I haven’t scrapped a page for my dear hubby in a while and this kit was perfect for this photo of him.
I love the park across our block, the outdoor lighting is fantastic at night and you can sit on the benches and relax. The landscape is nice too, there’s a playground for the little ones too so it’s nice for those afternoon strolls as well. I just love our neighborhood, everyday I wake up and think of how much I love where we live.
I decided to print some of my layouts and put them in the shadow box frames I got from Ikea a while back. It turned out so nice and it is now displayed in my scrap space. I’m looking at these frames on my work space and I feel happy, I love that I have a little nook where I keep all my stash and a space to work on my projects. I don’t worry about tile flooring or curtains because my work space blends in with the rest of the living room.
It is so much better than the art prints I wanted to buy from Etsy since it’s my work and my photos in it.
My photos are important to me. I may not write about our daily life often but I have photos to show for it. Each one of them are precious so I want to be sure that these photos are kept safe at all times. I have them backed up in two different external hard drives but now I’m also considering online backup as a third storage. I can be sure that my photos won’t get corrupted or erased since it is stored online. I will tell my husband about this website I saw yesterday when I was browsing online. It seem like a reputable site with reasonable rates. Gotta keep those photos safe….
I was able to scrap a few pages today, it was nice to be back to scrapping again….
I used Kristin Cronin-Barrow’s Daydream Believer kit for this layout above. Oh the papers are gorgeous and the elements are so nice. It worked perfectly with the photo of my little girl.
I used Dani Mogstad’s Babycakes kit for the layout above. It was a great match for one of my all time favorite photo of my little girl. She’s almost one here and oh so adorable with her pacifier on her mouth. Reminded me of how much she was attached to it as a baby.
I was finally able to finish and take pictures of the birthday guestbook for my little girl’s third birthday party. I do this every year, make a little scrapbook with my favorite photos of her and a couple of pages for guests to write their birthday wishes on. This year I used Maya Road Accordion album for the guestbook and I loved how it turned out. It was tricky taking the album apart because of the small rings withouth closures, I was able to pry it open using pliers and everything was easy peasy after that. I’m looking forward to her birthday party, there’s going to be lots of good food and we expect our friends to come and celebrate with us. I might need diet supplement afterwards because I won’t be able to resist having a slice (or two or three) of her birthday cake which is a Hello Kitty chocolate cake with buttercream filling and while chocolate shavings on the side.
I love pink and I love using it to scrap photos of my little girl. These new kits at Shabby Pickle Designs are perfect for the girly pages I’m planning to do. Having a daughter means I can use all the flowers and frilly elements I want. It’s so fun to be part of such an amazing site full of talented designers. I can’t wait to finally sit down and scrap, right now I have to read on order fulfillment articles but once I’m done I can scrap all I want. I have lots of cute photos that I’ve been dying to use, it will go perfectly with these kits.
We have a few parties to go to this month not to mention my little girl’s birthday party. When there’s a party there’s going to be lots of good food. Too good to resist even if it means lots of calories which can later lead to extra pounds (lol). I don’t think even appetite suppressants could work when you see all the food on the table, and I’m not even talking about desserts here (that’s a whole new playing field). I say eat and be merry and just burn those calories later.
While I’m busy with my daily chores and sorting out mails (which is piling up on my drawer) I came across an ad about health insurance leads and I thought about our health insurance. The truth is my husband handles all these details and I trust his judgment too. I’m just thankful that our family have good health but I’m also thankful that we have a good health insurance we can use if we need it. I keep trying to tell myself that we should have a healthier lifestyle and take care of ourselves better because prevention is always better than cure.
