I was browsing Scrapartist and found 2 new items from GMD. The first one is an adorable kit called Appletini. I love the burst of fun colors of this kit. Can’t wait to use it….

The next one is a template bundle. This is something I could really use, I want to make more layouts this month.

Ohhh maybe start making quickpages for my little girl’s birthday party photos. She’s turning three in a few weeks (how time flies!) and I could make the pages in advanced and just placed the photos after her birthday.

I spent the day browsing at online stores and admiring those beautiful invitations. It’s been a while since we’ve received any First Communion Invitations. Since most of my friend’s kids are a bit young I think we won’t be receiving any in a year or two.

Holy First Communion
This didn’t stopped me from browsing for invitations though, I can’t help it. I know I should be looking at birthday invitations right now but I like looking at communion cards and invitations. Seeing a child receive her first communion is something special, an important event in a child’s life. I’m looking forward to receiving a few of these in the next year or so. I’m sure it’s going to be a great experience. I remember how excited I was as a child to receive my first communion and how happy I was to distribute my communion invitations to my relatives.

I’m planning to order some Photo Stationery Invitations to welcome 2010. I know it’s a little early to be thinking about stationery photo cards and photo announcements but I was browsing online and found some nice designs I could probably choose when I do my own photo cards.

FREE Photo Invitations
It would be one unique stationery set if you ask me, it’s personalized and I for one be willing to use something like this. I take lots of photos almost everyday so I know I will have lots of photos to choose from.

This is a new kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow over at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I love the colors of this kit, and all the flowers of course. I’ve been in a rut lately in terms of scrapping and designing, just when I need to be on top of my game my mojo disappeared. Anyway I managed to make a layout which is great, I’m hoping I could do more….

I love how my layout turned out. I love the photos of me, my little girl and my bestfriend here. Ahhh this is why this hobby is great, I can to reminisce the stories behind the photos when I create the pages.

I’m hosting the Spin A Lift challenge over at Sweet Shoppe Designs today. It was nice browsing the galleries and picking a great scrapper to feature for this challenge. I was really pleased with my pick, I’m happy with how my layout turned out too. I wish finding the best acne treatment was as easy as picking layouts. Not for me though but for my youngest sister, you know teenagers and their skin issues. I’m helping her out, hopefully we could find a good treatment and then she’ll ask about it when she come see the dermatologist.

I picked up this kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs yesterday and I thought it would be fun to use it for a layout. I love the patterned papers in this kit and the fun furry little monsters. The colors are great too. Here’s the layout I did with the kit….

Isn’t it cute? I think so

There’s nothing more fun in planning a child’s birthday than choosing the perfect Kid Birthday Invitations from around the web and deciding on which one to order. There’s a myriad of choices when it comes to kids birthday invitation online. You don’t have to sweat about it trying to come up with a design by yourself, just simply order online and you’ll have great looking kids party invitations.

First Birthday Invitations
I love planning for my daughter’s birthday party and choosing her birthday invitations is always fun. I have to decide on a theme first of course then choosing the invitations is the next on my list.

I love this kit by Traci Reed. I used it for a layout I did for a blog challenge I’m hosting this weekend. I can’t post it here yet but I’m pleased with how it turned out. I was reading online tutorials for photoshop (although I kept winding up reading about business plan consultants), trying to learn new tricks so I can scrap better. I like my layouts as they are but there’s always room for improvement. Besides it keeps things interesting, I don’t want to get bored doing this hobby.

Janet Phillips released her latest grab bag this month and I just had to get it like always. It is filled to the brim with templates that makes scrapping so much easier for me. Now if I can rid my email of best weight loss supplement ads that I seem to get more than usual today. Anyway I’m also looking forward to the long weekend we’ll have this month. I need to catch up on my scrapping and blogging again. I’m so behind on just about everything I need to do.

Next month is my little girl’s birthday, I’m busy these days making preparations for her birthday party. Halloween is also just around the corner which means Christmas and New Year will follow suit. It’s going to be a busy few months but it’s going to be fun too. I’m trying to decide what costume will my little girl wear this year. I’m not really a big fan of halloween as it is not really a big deal here in our country but I’d like want to have a few pictures of her wearing a costume. I’ve browsed online and saw some nice equestrian apparel, I think she would be a cute cowgirl. I’m still undecided, there’s lots of options to choose from especially for little girls. I have a few weeks to decide, maybe I’ll take her to the mall and see if there’s some nice costumes for sale now.
