This FREE two-week class begins on July 6, 2009!
On June 22 the registration for Jessica Sprague’s Photo Editing class will begin. I think it’s a great class and best of all registration is 100% free! I can’t wait to sign up, I want to learn the different techniques that will be offered in this class.
When my dad was here he talked to me about gps systems and if it was possible to install one for our car back home. Here and in the US it gps is useful and it getting more popular I’m not sure if it’s worth to have one for the car back home. It was great having them here for two weeks. Of course the grandparents dot on their only granddaughter and my little girl loved having someone to play with. My dad loved taking her to the playground and he doesn’t get tired running after her and tickling her. Now I send them pictures and short videos of the little girl regularly so they won’t miss her so much.
I had a productive day here at home. I finished editing a lot of my little girl’s recent photos and soon I can scrap those using the latest kits from Sweet Shoppe Designs, there’s a bunch of new releases today that I want to use. I have to start sleeping early or I might have to use an eye wrinkle cream to reduce puffiness and lines around my eyes. Now I don’t want that so I’m going to start hopping to bed at least an hour earlier than I usually do. I know that would help a lot. It’s just that sometimes it’s hard to turn in early when I have so much to do online.
It’s been a while since I last did my shopping at The Lilypad but I love browsing their virtual store aisles, they have some amazing designers over there so the products are just oh so gorgeous. When the latest Build Your Own Collab pieces was released I almost did a shopping spree, there was loads of lovely pieces and I want ‘em all. Luckily my sane side kicked in and I was able to stop myself from spending. If you are looking at new element packs and kits you might want to go to TLP, you won’t be disappointed. Above are just some of my favorite items from the store.
I went to the salon today and spent more than five hours there to have my hair permed, colored, treated and trimmed. My hair needed it badly and it was also a chance for me to have a “me” time. So after lunch I left home and went to the salon some 45 minutes away from our home. It was nice to be pampered and I had lots of time to read several fashion magazines too. There was Her World, Elle, Women’s Weekly, Cleo and a lot more on their stash for customers to read. I’ve read about the latest fashion, the best weight loss pill, the great workout plan, the best makeup and saw the latest handbags and clothes. I haven’t bought any fashion magazine in a long time, I guess I’m more into home decorating magazines these days that I get my fix of fashion and celebrity news online. It was a good afternoon for me.
It’s Saturday and that means the new realeases at Sweet Shoppe Designs are up. I love seeing the new releases at the shoppe and this week this is my most favorite kit, Easy Breezy Beautiful by MandaBean & Libby Weifenbach. I love the colors of this kit and since I scrap photos of my little girl most of the time this is just perfect. I love seeing new kits every week, girly kits, gazebo kits, themed kits and more…it’s like browsing an aisle of a candy store, there’s lots of colors and patterns and a wide assortment of elements available.I can’t wait to finally have time to sit down and use the new kits.
This is a new kit by Camila Designs called Colorful Happiness which was released yesterday at After Five Designs. How fun and happy this kit is. I knew I had to use it right away. There’s a fun mix of elements in this kit, I especially like the paint splats, the ribbons and the epoxy/acrylic elements. There’s also shadowed versions of most elements for those who wants to scrap in a jiffy. Here’s the layout I made using the kit….
I’ve rummaged through my stash and I’ve noticed that I have accumulated a lot of home decorating magazines in a little over a year. I know I must purge this stash soon because I buy one to three new magazines every month. I can’t help it I like reading articles and getting ideas and inspiration by browsing the pages of each magazines. I wonder if a rare coin dealer source out these rare coins online or through ads in magazines or newspaper too. I know that Monaco Rare Coin have a vast and impressive array of resources when it comes to investors and collectors of rare coins. They have been in the business for over 40 years that’s why they have immediate access to a wide range of investment-grade coins. They are trusted in the hard asset investments because of their expertise, experience and financial muscle other rare coin companies can’t match.
I haven’t shopped for scrapping supplies for a while now. Probably it is because I belong to three amazing store CTs and I have access to a lot of gorgeous kits. I’m still tempted to shop for several element packs. Here’s my Catscrap wishlist:
I think the element packs would give a nice finishing touch to my layouts and this template pack is just pretty. I like the circle template the most and with text paths already in place it would make creating layouts easy peasy. Oh it is really tempting to shop……
I forgot to post the photo of my little nook on my post so I’m making another post for it. It’s quite bare at the moment but I’m looking forward to finding pieces to complement the space. Here it is….
Overall I love how it turned out. I’ve chosen the laminate that would coordinate with the TV console and designed the the whole concept myself for the contractor to follow. It was more than I was expecting. I haven’t sorted out my papers, books and scrapbook albums yet so the display area is almost empty. I plan to do a few hybrid projects as well. I know we should make another trip to the mall to look for office furniture that would go with this little nook of mine. I’m not sure I totally like the chair right now but until I find something better that should do the job.
