Some new pages from me, and non Christmas layouts too…

I love these new pages of mine, these were so easy to make too, it took me only about an hour to finish each. I’m almost done with all of my CT layouts so I will be enjoying the rest of the holiday doing things with my family.

I have two new quickpage set this week at Gina Miller Designs. I had fun making these so there’s six pages for each kit. Oh and I used Gina’s Icing and Beautiful You kits here and they’re both great kits. I was busy looking at wood flooring prices online this morning that I almost forgot to post about these here. Wow I can’t believe it’s Christmas week, I would like to spend less time at the computer this week and enjoy the festive season with my family. Anyway it’s a busy week for me too so staying off the computer won’t be a problem.

These were released at Gina Miller Designs last week. I had fun making these and was able to make two albums for myself. Oh and speaking of GMD…

Don’t forget about her 12 Days of Christmas for some great discounts. Look forward to more fun hybrid projects from me too

Love those ribbons. This is the birthday album I did for my daughter and I just love how colorful and fun it turned out. I better start hoarding more ribbons seeing I’ll be going to do more of these albums in weeks to come. It’s great that the sales staff from the local scrapbook store are friendly and helpful, they might not know anything about Fenterdren but they sure know about scrapbook stuff way more than I do. I like talking to them and asking for their opinions on things, like for instance the best adhesive and paper selection.

So this year we’re giving the grandmas personalized books for Christmas. I thought it would be nice to print all my favorites layouts of my daughter for them. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for years and I do hope they like it. Speaking of personalized things I plan to order two mouse pads for me and for hubby to use at work. I’ll make a layout with a photo of the three of us and have it printed at Artscow (where else right?) next week perhaps.

I got it a few weeks ago and I’m fairly satisfied with it. The pages are thick and the colors are great. None of pages got cut off so all of my journaling were safe.

For me it is so much better (and way cheaper) than Shutterfly. I would be 100% happy with it if not for the cover page. There was a little white border at the bottom of my cover and I don’t know why it is like that. I’m certain that it wasn’t there when I saved my album for printing. Oh well, I guess better luck next time. There were a total of 39 pages on my book so I paid for the extra pages that wasn’t covered with the free photobook coupon I had. I wonder where they do the printing of these photobooks, maybe it’s in one of those steel buildings in an industrial park or something. It is getting popular among scrapbookers and I’m sure they’re taking in more orders now. I’ll definitely use some of my free credits in the future.

I’m into hybrid projects these days and I’m so happy I get to use the Christmas photos from last year to make this little album. I was actually look at car insurance for my mom but I decided to take a break and work on this one instead. I used one of the Basic Grey album I bought weeks ago and it turned out great. It’s good that I’m finally starting to use the paper scrapbooking stuff I’ve been hoarding for a while now. I’m sure this isn’t going to be the past project I’ll work on since I’m now a Quickpage Artist for Gina Miller.

I finally had a chance to use by paper scrapbooking stuff and was able to finish my Journal Your Christmas 2008 album. I am pleased with how it turned out too. I used Zoe Pearn’s Be Merry paper kit by My Mind’s Eye for the cover. I added some gems and foam alpha from Thickers too.

Hubby and I were at the mall yesterday and we passed by this nice furniture store. We both agreed that we want modern furniture in our own home someday. Not really someday because we’re hoping we could buy a flat next year. The question is would there be an available flat for us to buy. The process of buying a brand new flat is a bit different here than back home and we’re going through that process right now. We hope when it is our turn to choose a flat there would be one available to the area we like. We’re keeping our fingers crossed…

I don’t have any greeting card for the prompt on Shimelle’s class but I do have a layout for today. I’m keeping up so far, yay me. I figured I don’t have to do every prompt but I’m hoping I could do a layout each day.

Me and the little girl went out today and I used some of the photos I took of us this afternoon. Wow I’m in the photos, thanks camera timer. Oh and do you see the gingerbread cookie on the layout? That’s a real gingerbread cookie we bought at the scrapbook store (they have a small cafe inside), I took photos of it and extracted one to use as an element.
