I used Jacque and Gina’s new collab called Colorful Carnival in this layout. It is such a fun kit and I love the bold colors and the cute clowns.

I love this kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow called Moments in Time. I love that photo of my daughter as well (I didn’t even edit it, that’s straight out of the camera my friend).

If you have busy little boys who are always on the go then you’re going to love this new element pack by Kate Hadfield and Jacque Larsen. Unlike Hydroxycut hardcore which I know nothing about until recently, I would really recommend cute little pieces like this to embellish your pages. I haven’t done any pages lately, I’m busy finishing up by new kit that I’ll release next week. I’m hoping to get another kit done in time for the Digital Scrapbooking Day. Wish me luck.

We were watching TV and there was nothing good to watch so my sister was flipping channels. We found ourselves watching a weight lifting championship for a little while (yup nothing good was on that night), and we both wondered if the contestants were using bodybuilding supplements because their muscles were really huge. Of course being a contestant I don’t think they’re allowed to do that so how they managed to put on all those muscles is beyond me. It does get boring here at home sometimes and we get stuck with shows we don’t normally take a second look. Good thing it’s Monday so there’s going to be Amazing Race tonight.

How fun and colorful is this kit?! It’s a new collab kit by Gina Miller and Jacque Larsen and it’s the cutest kit! I can’t wait to get my hands on this one, I have a lot of photos of the little girl that I’m dying to scrap. This week I might be able to do that. It’s so bright and happy, perfect for little kids! And unlike diet pills that I still say no to I have a huge stash of scrap kits I haven’t used yet that I plan to scrap with this week. I hope my mojo doesn’t go anywhere.

I’m really looking forward to this class (registration will start tomorrow) by Jessica Sprague. As a scrapbooker, I want to be better in telling stories. Journaling is not my strongest point in scrapbooking, I sometimes even struggle with it. I want to learn how to tell my stories, afterall this is why I scrapbook…so I can have the memories and stories of our family on my pages. Now I have to go check out cheap auto insurance online so I could give my mom a rough estimate of how much it will cost.

I love the airbrush look of the photos in the glossy magazine covers. I’m just amazed with how much it can change the look of a photo, make it pop even more and hide the flaws of the models. I must admit by straight out of the camera shots needs a little tweaking most of the time but I’m no airbrush expert here. I don’t intend to alter my photos to perfection either (it’s not for a magazine it’s for my scrapbook pages) because the photos tells the story and I want my stories to be real. I know magazines needs to have perfect photos all the time but me, eh I’m fine with the everyday photos I take. I’ll just admire the magazine cover photos…

I used Kasia Designs’ kit for this cute layout above. I love how bright and happy the kit is, it matches my photo perfectly.
I didn’t get much layouts done at all this month. I still need to catch up on CT assignments! I’ve been really busy with a lot of things non-scrapbook related, although it was great now I have a lot of catching up to do. I hope to do that this week, I just hope the little girl cooperates and let mommy work by taking longer naps. I love playing with her and reading to her when she’s awake so mostly nap times and when she wants to play by herself in my little spare time that I use to do my work.

Zoe Pearn released her 2009 calendar templates and I made this one above for her. It fits the Maya Road Calendar album perfectly. I was so happy to have this set because I just bought the album and have no idea how to start our calendar, now I know what to do. I just need to choose the photos for each month, print it then start doing the hybrid part. I have lots of ribbons in different colors (thanks to my hoarding) so that will definitely come in handy. After I’m all done with the calendar I can just delete the files from straightaway to save on laptop memory or perhaps make a copy in dvd then delete it.

Is now on sale today until next week. Do you like grab bags? Well I do. I’ve been disappointed with some of what I bought before but it doesn’t stop me from buying the next good one I see. It is really cheap and you get loads of products for it and since it’s a grab bag and you can’t see what’s inside you’ll like some and hate some. And c’mon those cute little bags, gets me everytime. And as long as there’s no horse supplements coming out of the bag I’ll be fine and I’m sure I’ll find some ways to use it.
