Enchanted Play

I don’t have any greeting card for the prompt on Shimelle’s class but I do have a layout for today. I’m keeping up so far, yay me. I figured I don’t have to do every prompt but I’m hoping I could do a layout each day.

Me and the little girl went out today and I used some of the photos I took of us this afternoon. Wow I’m in the photos, thanks camera timer. Oh and do you see the gingerbread cookie on the layout? That’s a real gingerbread cookie we bought at the scrapbook store (they have a small cafe inside), I took photos of it and extracted one to use as an element.

Today our prompt is to scrap about the weather and the weather here is pretty much the same since we don’t have winter. Of course I still scrapped my page for today and here it is…

I’m loving these photos of my little girl, who is now taking one or two ornaments off our tree to play with. I hope we’ll still have a decent looking tree by Christmas.

It’s the first day of December and I’m so excited to be taking Shimelle’s Journal Your Christmas class. I saw a thread at SSD about at and thought it would help me be inpired this month. I really want to finish this project, I think it would be fun and it will hold Christmas memories too. I plan to do a hybrid album but that could still change, I have enough paper scrapping supplies I think although I should see if I need a box cutter and other tools. If I do it all digital it would be easier but I think it will be fun to use “real” embellishments too. I have ideas for other page inserts such as cards and envelopes and you can’t go that on all digi.
