I’m not really the type of person who wears a lot of jewelry nor accessories for that matter. Most of the time I would just wear earrings and watch, sometimes a necklace. I won’t mind wearing my diamonds when we go for special events. I still go for the less is more approach though, I guess I’m used to wearing next to none most days. This doesn’t stop me from browsing Etsy to admire the beautifully handcrafted accessories that sellers have for sale.

While I’m busy with my daily chores and sorting out mails (which is piling up on my drawer) I came across an ad about health insurance leads and I thought about our health insurance. The truth is my husband handles all these details and I trust his judgment too. I’m just thankful that our family have good health but I’m also thankful that we have a good health insurance we can use if we need it. I keep trying to tell myself that we should have a healthier lifestyle and take care of ourselves better because prevention is always better than cure.
I plan to go to Ikea this week to pick up a few things before my little girl’s birthday. I also need to go the baking supplies store to get the candy melts, sugar pearls and packing materials for something I’m making for her birthday party as well. I don’t need to be distracted this week so I’m making a to do list and I’ll be checking my to do list to make sure I do them on time. I am always finding interesting articles online like yesterday I found an article about Asbestos legislation and I end up reading them and not doing the things I’m suppose to do.
I’m planning to order some Photo Stationery Invitations to welcome 2010. I know it’s a little early to be thinking about stationery photo cards and photo announcements but I was browsing online and found some nice designs I could probably choose when I do my own photo cards.

It would be one unique stationery set if you ask me, it’s personalized and I for one be willing to use something like this. I take lots of photos almost everyday so I know I will have lots of photos to choose from.
We’ve been wondering for months what this structure would be when completed. It’s definitely not going to be a new cluster of HDBs seeing it’s quite small and it didn’t look like it’s going to be one of those steel buildings either. I thought it would be community centre which would be nice but last week I finally found out what it will be….a school. It will be a new primary school which will be open next school year. I never thought it would be a school seeing there’s already a school not every far from this structure, well I guess have more options for my little girl in the future would be nice.
I’ve rummaged through my stash and I’ve noticed that I have accumulated a lot of home decorating magazines in a little over a year. I know I must purge this stash soon because I buy one to three new magazines every month. I can’t help it I like reading articles and getting ideas and inspiration by browsing the pages of each magazines. I love templates, it’s a quick and easy way to create scrapbook pages and these days I need quick and easy. I just decided that I’m not going to spend all my time in front of the computer anymore so I need to cut by scrapping time in half. There’s just a lot of things I want to do that doesn’t involve sitting down and staring at my computer screen all day. I still love scrapbooking but I want to scrap faster to have more time making memories to scrap about with my family. I want to be able to do other things I enjoy besides scrapbooking like spending time playing and reading with my daughter or reading home decorating magazines or even share weight loss supplement review with my friends. So yes I love templates and I’m go happy that Janet Phillips is selling templates again.
My husband is an avid gamer. He is currently playing Warcraft these days. I used to be a gamer like him. In fact years ago we would play Empire Earth and Battle Realms on weekends. We’re tempted to purchase a Wii and Wii accessories but I’m still on the fence about this. He’s the only one playing most of the time since I spend my free time scrapping now. I guess he could just play on his computer, it’s not much of an issue but I also want to try out Wii Fit so I’m still not sure.
I should take a photo of me and see if all the excess weight I shed it noticeable in photos. I’ve lost about 8lbs. and I’m close to reaching my pre-pregnancy weight (yay me). I’m going to shop for a new wardrobe once that happens. It’s good that I didn’t need any appetite suppressants to lose weight. It wasn’t easy, I love to eat….and I love the eat desserts but I did it. It took a long time but it doesn’t matter, I just have to work harder not to fall back into the wagon.
I’ve read a poster about a tour at the Marina Barrage three weeks from now. I’m thinking my parents and sister will be here by then and it would be a place to take them. It would be different from Outer Banks I guess but it’s a great place for the whole family to have relax and enjoy nature and the view of the Marina. We’ve never been there either so it’s an added bonus. I’m sure there’s going to be lots of photo ops there and the little girl will love running around. I will tell my husband about this later and see what he thinks.
