I was browsing the pages of the home decorating magazine I just bought and I fell in love with the mosaic tiles of a bathroom they featured. I know it costs a ton to have these tiles installed but the end result is just beautiful. I would love to have one like that in our bathrooms (I guess I can keep dreaming lol), maybe all the walls but just one wall to act like the focal point.

As I will be giving birth birth next summer I already said goodbye to our family vacation this year. Not a chance that I will be needing snow boots anytime soon. I want to go on vacation when I’m in the position to enjoy it and not while I’m heavily pregnant , couldn’t see my feet and have to go and pee all the time. We could also use the funds for the new baby so it’s not so bad. Just because we won’t be going on a fancy holiday doesn’t mean that we can’t have fun. We’ll still go out but maybe somewhere near and won’t require traveling by plane.
I find myself napping a lot these past few days, it’s not so bad as I need my rest and I have baby #2 to think about. I don’t sleep late now as well, not that I could because my husband is now telling me to go bed early. I guess I won’t be needing the best eye cream afterall with all the sleep I’m getting these days. I do enjoy staying in bed with the little girl, it’s fun talking to her and giving her lots of cuddles before be actually go to sleep
It was fun that we were able to go to lots of places when we went back home for vacation. In a way a lot has changed, more shopping malls, greats restaurants and other fun places. The little girl enjoyed our vacation as much as I did. She loved the car rides because she’s able to see a lot of things that are new to her, the jeepneys, tricycles even signature plates makes her squeal in delight. Ahhh how easy it is to please a toddler, we don’t have to try so hard. I was happy that she to see a lot of different places and have new experiences. We definitely have to go back home for often.
I’m trying to figure out how to slice a video clip to fit to my Flickr for the past 30 minutes now. I have to admit it will be better for me to just ask my husband to do it for me. Just like I don’t know anything about Insinkerator, I don’t know how to edit videos either, my husband is always the one editing our family videos so I never tried to do it myself. For once I wanted to do it myself but it seems I really can’t do it. I better ask the expert…
I was browsing online for healthier meals I can prepare easily before I take my little girl to school. It’s hard to plan a menu for the family each week, preparing the same food over and over can be boring so I’m trying to find new recipes to try. I even stumbled upon this alli weight loss which already helped a lot of women lose weight. I try to make healthier food choices because I’m too scared to try any weight loss treatment/diet so hopefully by eating healthy I could shed those excess pounds, it will be slow but I gotta try.
I know going back to Manila for vacation that I would like to do a lot of shopping since I can get a lot of things like clothes cheaper here. I was happy to find great bargains and a big sale when I did my shopping for the little girl’s clothes. The clothes were cheaper at full price but to get them at 50% off was even better. I still bought her some clothes at Gingersnaps at full price though, I didn’t mind because the price is three times more have I bought them at SG and besides they have the cutest paperbag too. I wished I got her more accessories from their store, oh well maybe next time.
I know we’re still on vacation but I can’t help but think about our next vacation come September. The little girl will have a short school break so it’s the perfect time to go have a family getaway. I’m not sure our original plan would push through but I still want to go somewhere we could have fun and relax and perhaps lounge on some log furniture. I don’t mind not going to Tokyo this year but I really want to have a break. I’m sure hubby won’t mind this idea too, it’s so much easier to bring the little girl on trips now that she’s almost four. She’s a fun companion and it’s not hard to keep her happy and entertained (I have my iphone to thank for that).
This doodle set by Kate Hadfield has been really helpful when it comes to doing my daughter’s school homework. I let her choose which animals she wants and proceeds to assist her in cutting, pasting them on her workbook. The doodles are nicely done and so cute, my daughter likes them a lot.
